People fleeing Mosul urgently need your help
Iraqi families are in desperate need of shelter, food and water.
UNHCR is preparing for the worst in Iraq. Due to decades of conflict there are already more than three million people displaced in Iraq—150,000 more people have fled Mosul and surrounding areas since April. UNHCR is now anticipating an influx of hundreds of thousands more people in the next few days.
Plans are already underway to have a total of 11 camps fully built and accessible to refugees in the coming weeks, in addition to the two camps already completed in Debaga. UNHCR is working intensively with partners to ensure that the humanitarian community is ready for with adequate shelter, food, water and medical support for those forced to flee.
We need your help—we only have a small window of opportunity, maybe a matter of hours to deliver desperately needed aid.
Donate now to deliver emergency support to Iraqi families.
