Violence and persecution in Myanmar have now driven over a million Rohingya from their homes. Rohingya refugees have fled violence in Myanmar at a staggering rate.

At the peak of the crisis, thousands were crossing into Bangladesh daily. Most walked for days through jungles and mountains, or braved dangerous sea voyages across the Bay of Bengal to reach safety. They arrived exhausted, hungry and sick—urgently in need of protection and humanitarian assistance.

Thousands of Rohingya refugees found safety from violence in the Cox's Bazar region of Bangladesh. As they have worked to re-establish their lives, new threats have emerged.

UNHCR is on the ground in Bangladesh providing lifesaving aid to Rohingya refugees, but resources are stretched thin. You can help rush critical aid including food, clean water, medicine and tents to Rohingya children and families.
