Increased fighting in eastern DR Congo is forcing thousands of people to flee their homes. Families are being torn apart, homes destroyed and people left with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Displaced people are seeking refuge in already overcrowded displacement sites, facing unimaginable challenges to survive.

UNHCR is on the ground to provide lifesaving care and protection to families in need of help. Our teams are providing shelter, food, water and essential items such at mats, blankets and jerry cans.
